What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is the ancient system of holistic health from India.  Ayurveda teaches that everything that comes in through the 5 senses contributes to a state of health or to disease.  Practitioners help the patient to understand what kind of sensory input brings healing using tools such as diet, aromatherapy, color therapy, lifestyle changes, regular routines, exercise, meditation, deep relaxation, and more.
